Most importantly, due to the organic nature of the wood, keep it away from the water. Remember to remove your vermeil jewellery before swimming, showering or bathing. You can gently wipe the Wood Gems with a cotton swab but we don’t recommend to do it often. It is very important to dry it thoroughly afterwards.

Remember to remove your jewellery:

- Before showering or bathing. If your jewellery piece gets accidentally wet, dry it with a soft dry cotton cloth and let it air dry for some time to allow the excessive moisture to evaporate.

- When applying makeup, perfumes, lotions, or hair spray. Chemicals, moist and acidic environments can react with the metal and cause a change in the appearance, wait until your product is completely dry before slipping on your jewellery

- Before sleep

How to store your jewellery. Your jewellery should be kept away from direct sunlight and humid environments (e.g.bathroom). The pieces should be stored individually in a protective jewellery box or a plastic zip lock bag, to prevent scratching.
